This Hout Bay Home is situated in a perfect position to create a perfect view for its owner.
Take an Attic convert it into a Bedroom add a Dormer and create a loft bedroom with magnificent views:
A standard attic room was converted to a sizable bedroom with the most amazing views by placing a 3m wide dormer window facing the ocean and a large skylight positioned directly above the bed.
Dry wall partitioning defines the toilet and the shower exposed on three sides allows attention to be drawn to a rather unusual hand basin.
Minimal tiling insures no cluttering of the walls or make it too busy and a full set of built in cupboards taking on the shape of the pitch rounds off this spacious and stunning bedroom.
The bed is flanked and supported by a wrap-a round headboard to match the cupboards and allows a superb view of the stars through a large purposefully placed skylight.
A large desk affords one the opportunity to be able to work, study, respond to mails or skype relatives while taking in the breathtaking views.
St Marks Road in Llandudno has some of the most amazing views on the Atlantic Seaboard.
This glorious Grand "Old Lady" required a full interior revamp and renovations for it's new owners.
The revamp and renovation brief included
"Bring light into the home, create large spaces and uncluttered rooms'.
Our tasks included attending to:
Vanity and basin installations
Textured Patio screeding
The transformation process was methodical and with the keen attention to details such as door handles and light fittings.
The interior of the home now looks exceptional.
Senator Park located in the City Bowl - a block away from Parliament is a prestigious apartment block that is attracting a lot of attention from investors.
We have gutted upgraded and in most cases reconfigured 7 apartment units at Senator Park.
With this particular unit we deviated from our normal layout and added a separate bedroom allowing for a large living area with some great views toward Table Mountain.
The incorporation of sliding doors in the bedroom and bathroom, saved a large amount of valuable living space which is needed in a 44 sqm. apartment.
In the bedroom area -Cupboards built around and above the headboard leaves unimpeded movement on both sides of the bed. We installed a long horizontal side wall window and together with the glass panelled door entrance - this allowed more than enough light into the bedroom.
A suitably sized shower replaced the original bath - giving more space and the bathroom was finished off with a white porcelain basin on Rustenberg granite work surfaces.
